Spill the Creativity Podcast
Podcast Art Cover + Visual Identity
Spill the Creativity is a podcast that talks about the good and the bad about choosing a creative career. The podcast aims to provide a cup of stimulation for creatives -- a warm cup of tea in the bitter-sweet pursuit of the creative life.
The Goal:
The podcast needed a visual identity that truly captured its essence—fun, fresh, and made for creatives navigating their journey. The vision for the cover included:
A tea-inspired visual to play on the phrase “spill the creative-tea.”
A lively and youthful design that resonates with millennials and Gen Z.
A color palette that embraced the brand’s existing tones—orange, yellow, green, and pink.
The Result:
I created a cover that feels like a burst of inspiration—full of warmth, movement, and creative energy.
The color palette brings a sense of freshness and liveliness, while the flowing, curving tea kettle at the center symbolizes creativity in full bloom,. The spilling tea kettle symbolizes the flow of stories—real, unfiltered talks about the highs and lows of being a young creative in the busines that can be shared and consumed together.
The podcast cover was designed as a visual invitation to step into the podcast’s rich and honest conversations about the creative journey.
🏆 The Impact:
The bold, colorful design sets the podcast apart in the business and entrepreneurship category, where most covers lean toward muted, minimal tones.
The vibrant branding has made the podcast more eye-catching and inviting, helping it attract the right audience and stand out on streaming platforms.
The strong visual identity contributed to the podcast gaining traction, helping it rank in the Business & Entrepreneurship category, making it more discoverable to creatives looking for guidance and inspiration.
